How the Grinch Stole Christmas/Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer - “I’m Talking To The Audience.”

In This Episode, Joe is joined by a special guest… His daughter Abby, and they are covering two classic animated Christmas specials.

During "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," they discuss Chuck Jones' influence on making the special, the two voices of the Grinch and Abby shares the true meaning of Christmas (And probably the other holidays too). 

During "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer," they talk about the location of the old Rudolph and Santa Puppets, Abby attempts to name the reindeer and sings along to a lot of this movie.

In the face of danger, Abby's views on the Abominable Snow Monster get DARK.

*NOTE* Please forgive the small gaps of silence or banging noises, Abby is still a podcaster in training, but I think she did a great job on the first try. By the end of it, she really finds her speed.

Joe reveals the roster of the super group that does the main song in the Credits. For Extra Credit, the guys act as Studio Execs looking to improve the movie.

In this episode, the guys do commentary for the 1984 Sci-Fi Film "The Last Starfighter."

We talk about the connection to one of the worst movies of all time, its deep connection to the Halloween franchise and the cast's impressive 80's film pedigree. Joe talks about a couple of attempts of making a sequel and the subsequent musical that came from the movie.

The conversation turns to how hot the 1984 box office was and other years that followed the same suit. Talk turns to our favourite soundtracks and scores.

For Extra Credit, we decide what other video games could be used as recruiting tools for an intergalactic crisis.


Blood Diner - “They Just Like to Do Aerobics Topless”

Happy Halloween. In this special Bonus Episode, Joe and Todd discuss the cult classic "Blood Diner."

We talk about our original misconception of the movie, the limited resumes of the cast and the history of Nazi Wrestlers (because it comes up in the movie).

Joe discusses Niagara Falls Comic Con Celebrity Meetings and Todd talks about his awkward moments with a Celebrity at the Toronto International Film Festival.

For their Extra Credit, the guys plan a meal befitting the Goddess Shitar and her cannibalistic tastes.

Revenge of the Nerds - “If Bill Cosby Was a College”

In this Episode, the guys discuss Revenge of the Nerds, questioning how any of the things they do in the movie could be ok, the Director's pitch that won him the job, The effect of being Nerds on the cast and we ask the question "Who isn't a nerd nowadays?" all of which somehow leading to a talk about the Power Rangers and a Rant about the Kardashians... I know right? But it doesn't end there. A basic misunderstanding leads to the creation of a new racial slur which we regret.

*NOTE* Joe had come down with a cough prior to the recording and, since the podcast is done in one take in real time, they bulk of the coughing could not be edited out. Just know that Joe is ok and will not be dead before the next episode.
